Real-World Validation
A structured 8–12 week deployment model that validates operational thermal performance assurance outcomes in real residential and commercial environments — producing evidence across all five 5C dimensions.
What the Demonstrator Is
The FutureTherma Demonstrator is not a pilot in the traditional sense. It is a structured, four-phase deployment designed to produce meaningful, decision-grade evidence of thermal performance assurance outcomes in a real building environment — within a defined timeframe and with clear, measurable outputs.
FutureTherma is currently aligning with a small number of demonstrator partners — housing associations, public estate managers, and university environments — who are willing to host and validate real-world performance assurance outcomes.
Partners receive structured evidence outputs across all five 5C dimensions — directly usable for operational reporting, board assurance, and regulatory evidence purposes.
The Four Phases
The sensing layer is deployed and thermal behaviour data capture begins. The baseline phase establishes a clear picture of existing thermal performance — room-level temperature patterns, system-state behaviour, and initial 5C dimension readings — before any intervention is applied.
TiPad Edge Controller and Zonal Thermal Correctors are deployed. Edge-autonomous logic begins interpreting thermal data, detecting inefficiencies, and supporting targeted zonal correction. No IT integration, no disruption to existing systems or tenants.
Performance changes across all 5C dimensions are measured and compared against the pre-intervention baseline. The validation phase produces the core evidence of demonstrator outcomes — quantifying improvements in comfort stability, consumption efficiency, cost performance, carbon output, and compliance evidence quality.
Structured audit-ready evidence outputs are produced across all 5C dimensions — directly usable for board-level assurance, funder reporting, regulatory evidence, and further programme decision-making. Evidence is structured for SHNZS, SHDF, PAS 2035, and Awaab's Law contexts.
